Keen to keep their cocktail line fresh, Bacardi annually host the Legacy Cocktail Competition. The contest challenges the world’s most innovative bartenders to create drinks that slot seamlessly alongside classic cocktails such as the Mojito, Daiquiri and Cuba Libre. Bacardi approached us to define their global communications for the event.
In addition to creating an entirely new visual identity, we were keen to utilise technology to increase awareness and aid event logistics. While the logo designs and photographic style we created draw upon Bacardi’s heritage, we also produced a digital registration mechanism to help capture and manage competition entries from around the globe.
Ubiquitous have worked closely with Bacardi over the last 3 competitions, leveraging the brand identity created across different digital versions to suport each year's priorities.
